Qualification & Experience:
- Having 5 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Micro- and Macro- economical understanding of business processes
- Male / Female candidate, energetic / outgoing personality, responsible / commited.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Airline Operation/Airport Management, Logistic/Transportation, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Maritime Studies, Others or equivalent.
- Required language: English
- Structural Thinking, Process understanding, Good analytical skills
- Well organized, able to do multi tasking, time defined task fulfillment
- Effective communication with internal and external (airlines/shipping lines, customers, partners) parties.
- Familiar with Customs and Freight forwarding Procedures.
- Thorough product knowledge (about the global freight forwarding market, airline / shipping line services, geography, price, etc).
- A team player with dare to do attitude, should be willing to take responsibilities, commited to the job.
- Excellent English and computer literate (Familiar with MS Office Applications).
- Previous experience in handling/working on Operational ERP systems, EDI will be an added advantage.
- Full-Time position available.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth flow of operations from receiving booking till completion of the job file.
- Responsible to handle customer complains efficiently and effectively to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage the team to ensure the departments function effectively and consistently.
- Work closely with the management to develop the Branch Sales / Client base.
- Report to management on market intelligence, and other MIS.
- Ability to build strong relationship with Airlines / Shipping lines and related vendors.
- Ability to build ocean consolidation programs to various markets.
- Ability to understand market price structures and accordingly price the product to customers.
- Handling rate inquiries, service related inquiries, tenders.
- Preparing SOP’s for each accounts and ensuring compliance to Process and SOP.
- Report to Manager on service failures and suitable preventive actions
